Declamation

Declamation, otherwise known as Speech Club, is an extracurricular activity where students learn and develop public speaking skills through the creation, memorization, and performance of speeches or works written by authors. This club has four categories, which include Declamation, Prose, Poetry, and Humorous Duet. If your student wants to learn and practice their public speaking, performance, or creative skills, then Speech Club might be right for them! 

An informational meeting will be held on 9/25/2025 in room 13 during lunch. Club meetings will be held on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays during lunch from October to December, with after-school meetings starting in January. This extracurricular has one meet hosted at Richards High School on a Saturday in March.
